Located on Hwy 7 east of Peterborough, the park is a great spot for a picnic or for a walk through majestic stands of maple, beech, elm and hemlock, among the oldest in Ontario. | | | Morton Family Trail (21)
At Trent University there are nature trails ranging from 1.9 to 3.7 km long. The Morton Family trail runs through cedar forest, marshland, old farm fields and along the Trent Canal. This trail is 2.3 km long. The photos were taken on a mild day (7 degrees C) Dec. 14, 2011. | | New Pool (12)

A wonderful trail system developed on property donated by Robert Johnston. Located at 185 Douro 5th Line, Douro, ON. About a 15 minute drive from Lake Edge Cottages.
